Construction
A 50mm thick solid steel chassis, giving enormous strength
with a low centre of gravity.
Masts
Available to any lift height in single, duplex or triple
designs and in special configurations.
Forks
Can be supplied to any length, mounted in pairs or
in multiple combinations with any spread width. Where
diverse loads are handled, efficiency has improved with
a powered fork spread allowing the operator to adjust
the fork position to the optimum width at any lift height
without leaving the cab.
They are designed to tilt whilst keeping the mast vertical,
this minimises deration whilst retaining full tilt angle
at high lift heights.
Stability Indicator
The combined effect of lead weight and load centre
is shown on a zone coloured indicator relative to the
trucks maximum safe capacity in the direction of the
forks.
Twin Power System
This is a feature unique to Sidetracker and of vital
importance to all who depend on the trucks to meet the
demands and commitments of their own business and customers.
Motivation is through our own electro-hydrostatic system
that eliminates all complex electrics or electronics
yet provides infinitely variable control with full overload
protection. Maintenance is very simple but still even
further enhanced, since none of the truck functions
are under load when starting. This results in batteries,
motor and controls having a considerably extended working
life.
All results in very low running costs and exceptional
reliability, but this is not all - the reliability of
a Sidetracker is potentially doubled by all functions
of the truck remaining operational with either of its
power units being de-commissioned.
Transmission
Very powerful and robust hydrostatic units directly
coupled to the wheels so that there is no immediate
gearing to go wrong or diminihs performance. Speed and
tractive effort can be varied to suit installation requirements.
Two Braking Systems
The hydrostatic transmission provides very efficient
reverse power braking and is supplemented by an equally
effective, independent and self adjusting hydraulic
disc brake system.
Power Steering
Power assisted steering incorporating all the latest
overload protection and kickback features giving light
and synchronised steering in all situations
